Jenny reports to Kane about a scan picking up three ships without active transponders.
While on watch, Marika and Chiaki discover periodic transmissions are being interrupted. Marika boots up the high-frequency radar and the scan picks up a ship that was lost 120 years ago.
Marika explains the situation to the yacht club members. Jenny reveals her knowledge of Marika's position as a potential pirate captain. Marika suggests they fight off the enemy themselves.
Marika creates a plan for an enemy attack and a counterattack plan and discusses it with Jenny and Lynn.
Lynn discovers a small stealth unit that is the source of the fake ghost ship.
"In outer space, there isn't an absolute left, right, up, or down. It all depends on your relative position. Understand where you've come from and where you're going, which way you're facing, and you'll know your current position. Confronted by the vastness of space, you may be disoriented by how small you are. But overcoming that feeling is your first step in outer space."
"A mysterious, armed vessel lies in wait. Do the yacht club's frail members have any chance to win? They use all their weapons to the best of their abilities, and their resolve opens the way. What is it that Marika sees then? Next time, on Mouretsu Pirates: Marika Makes a Decision. Look forward to it."
